I had originally played both Dragon Warrior games on the 8-bit Nintendo system. The music is what you could expect from the Game Boy. It is enhanced from the NES version, but still retro enough to be the perfect imitation of the original. The grind seems to have vanished. I have not yet completed the game, but I feel that I can progress in each game much smoother than in the original release!
The only drawback I can see is that the names of your hero is limited to 4 characters! This was to be expected, as that was the way it was in Dragon Warrior III for the Game Boy Color, but that leaves very little room to fit your personal name, if you, like me, wish to vision yourself standing toe-to-toe with the Dragon Lord Or DracoLord, in this version.
